Throughout my career, my driving force has always been a deep-seated desire to make a positive difference in the lives of others. It was this passion that drew me to The Button Law Firm, where our team is dedicated to making a meaningful impact by helping children and their families navigate legal challenges and ultimately receive justice.
As COO, my role on this team is centered around all aspects of the firm's day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and compliance. In addition to operational management, I am responsible for developing and implementing human resources policies, strategies, and initiatives that attract, retain, and develop top talent within The Button Law Firm. I work closely with the firm's partners as a member of the leadership team to align our operations with the firm's overall goals and objectives.
Originally hailing from Little Rock, Arkansas, I pursued my Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Management at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Following graduation, I embarked on various adventures with my husband, Kelly, including living in the captivating landscapes of Kenai, Alaska, before settling in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and ultimately making our home in Houston, Texas, to be closer to loved ones.
I have a passion for baking, love exploring new destinations, staying active with my Peloton, and cherish moments spent with friends and family. During the fall, football takes up most of my free time. My husband and I spend every weekend cheering on the New Orleans Saints and LSU Tigers!
During the COVID-19 pandemic, I discovered a newfound love for gardening and have developed quite the knack for nurturing house plants. I've affectionately named each of my plants after influential women, paying homage to trailblazers like the late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg and the incomparable Taylor Swift. Beyond my hobbies, I love spending time with my husband and our fur baby, a Jack Russell Terrier named Daisy!
