Get To Know Our New Marketing Intern, Natalia!

We’re excited to introduce our summer marketing intern, Natalia. Natalia is a business major at the University of Texas at Dallas, and she’s spending the summer with us to get real-world experience for the concepts she learned in school.

From day one, Natalia has been a natural fit with the team, taking it upon herself to learn our systems, study up on our methods, and adapt to them immediately. As Russell says, “She’s just a month in and already making a difference. I can’t wait to see what she
accomplishes!”

Natalia is working closely with Gabriela on marketing tasks and says she’s already learned a lot in her time here. “I really enjoy learning the technical side. I’m doing some graphic design, too, and I really enjoy that,” Natalia says. “You always learn about these concepts in class, but getting to see it firsthand, seeing it day to day, is really helpful in visualizing what I’ll be doing after graduation,” Natalia says.
Speaking of graduation, Natalia is one semester away from completing her degree, and she’s excited about the launching pad her internship at The Button Law Firm is giving her. “I plan to continue to work on the skill set I have, and I’m open to opportunities. I’m open to whatever comes,” she says of her bright future.

Fortunately, Natalia will get a chance to recharge and reflect on her experiences before heading back to school. At the end of the summer, between her internship wrapping up and classes starting, she’s going on a road trip with her husband to tour New
Mexico and Colorado. It sounds like her adventures are just beginning.

Learn More About Natalia

"My name is Natalia Soria, and I am currently working at the Button Law Firm as a marketing intern this summer. During the school year, I attend college at the University of Texas at Dallas (Go Comets!) as a Business Administration major with a concentration in Innovation and Entrepreneurship. I also added a minor in Environmental Studies this past year after discovering my passion for the environment. I am set to graduate this coming fall of 2019. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and the rest of my family, reading, and writing for my blog where I share my thoughts and passion for the environment!

As an intern, I work directly under the Marketing Assistant here at the Button Law Firm, Gabriela. My main job is to help her with the day to day operations of marketing campaigns. I’ve already learned so much on both the technical and conceptual sides of marketing, and everything that really goes on behind the scenes. I’ve only been here for a short time and I already feel like I know so much more than when I started here! Gabriela has given me a well-rounded view of how an actual marketing department operates.

In the future, I am most looking forward to the new chapter in life that comes after graduation. As a business student, it’s a hard reality to face that most large companies are not always operating for the best of their communities. I feel lucky to have discovered the Button Law Firm because they operate so differently from most businesses: with people at the forefront of everything they do. I hope to carry that sentiment forward into my own career.

I would like to thank my family for all of their constant love and support throughout college and as I enter into this new chapter of my life. I would also like to especially thank Russell and Gabriela for giving me the opportunity to work here for the summer, as well as taking the time to teach me and help me grow my skills. I look forward to the rest of my time here at the Button Law Firm!"
