A Family’s Day at the State Fair Takes a Tragic Turn
Years ago, the Santos family’s lives changed in an instant at the State Fair of Texas. What should have been a day filled with fun and laughter ended in heartbreak when their daughter suffered a serious injury. A ride, operated negligently, malfunctioned and caused her to break her leg.
Her injury required extensive medical care and a long recovery process. For a young child, that meant missing out on milestones and facing challenges no child should have to endure. From the very beginning, the Santos family showed incredible strength. They were determined to support their daughter through every step of healing while also demanding accountability for what had happened.
Standing Strong Through the Legal Process

What began as a passion for food has grown into a beloved stand at the Harry Hines Bazaar in Dallas. With every handmade pretzel, they are building more than just a business. They are creating a legacy of love, hard work, and community spirit.
