Her path into the legal field began with a business law class in college that sparked her interest in how the law can be used to help people. She later built her foundation in criminal defense as a student attorney before moving into personal injury law and finding her place in work focused on children and families.

Since joining The Button Law Firm, Kaitlyn has never stopped working to grow. She brings curiosity, preparation, and care to the cases she helps handle, whether she is reviewing records, thinking through case strategy, preparing for litigation, or helping our team understand the details that matter most to a family’s story.

Rooted in DFW

Kaitlyn was born and raised in the DFW area, giving her a strong connection to the communities our firm serves. She earned her undergraduate degree from The University of Texas at Dallas and her law degree from Texas Tech University School of Law before returning home to build her career.

Outside of work, Kaitlyn enjoys spending time with her husband, their dog Frannie, and their three cats, Fig, Phillip, and Loretta. She also enjoys CrossFit, trying new restaurants, and traveling whenever she can.

Kaitlyn’s connection to DFW and the life she has built here are part of what make her such a meaningful member of our team. She brings that same energy, curiosity, and commitment into the cases she works on at The Button Law Firm.
