MAY STORY: “Buddy and Lily Pick May Flowers”

Buddy Button woke up to warm sunshine on his face.
“Today is a perfect day for flowers!” he said, stretching his paws.
Outside, the meadow was full of bright blooms—pink, yellow, and blue.
Buddy grabbed his basket and started picking flowers. He picked a few… then a few more… and soon his basket was getting heavy.
“I can do this,” Buddy said, trying to carry everything at once.
But as he walked, oops!
Some flowers fell out.
Then more.
“Oh no…” Buddy frowned. “This is harder than I thought.”
Just then, he saw his friend Lily the bunny nearby.
“Hi Buddy! What are you doing?” she asked.
“I’m trying to pick flowers for everyone,” Buddy said. “But I keep dropping them.”
Lily smiled. “You don’t have to do it all by yourself.”
Buddy paused. He hadn’t thought about that.
“Want some help?” Lily asked.
“Yes, please,” Buddy said.
Together, they picked flowers—slowly and carefully this time. Buddy carried some, Lily carried some, and nothing fell.
Soon, they had beautiful bouquets ready to share.
“This is so much better,” Buddy said with a big smile.
Lily nodded. “Sometimes, asking for help makes things easier—and more fun!”
Buddy agreed.
And together, they delivered flowers to their friends, spreading smiles all across the meadow.
