From a young age, I’ve been passionate about helping others. I began college with hopes of becoming a police officer; however, I took one law course in the paralegal program at my university, and I instantly realized that this was what I was meant to do. I was fascinated by the way law firms were able to change lives and work with members of their communities so closely. It really felt like I could really make a difference.
I attended Texas A&M University-Commerce, graduating with my bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies. After graduation, I interned with a personal injury law firm in Dallas, where I was able to apply real-world experience to everything I learned in college.
I’m so glad to call The Button Law Firm home. I was quickly drawn in as I saw how much my personal values aligned with the BLF core values. I deeply appreciate BLF’s passion for justice – this is something the entire team truly cares about, and I could tell instantly. We do everything as a team here, and everyone works together for the needs of the client.
Here at The Button Law Firm, I provide case management support on every case we have. You may catch me on the phone, speaking with clients and witnesses, keeping track of medical records, bills, and treatment, and just overall assisting wherever necessary to help move our client's cases forward.
A little more about me: I was born in Dallas but spent most of my childhood in South Texas and Mexico. In my time outside of the office, I enjoy listening to all types of music and fixing up classic cars – I’m currently working on a 1979 Z28 Camaro—I finally got it running! I also love spending time with my Husky named Tom.
