I attended college at Metropolitan State University in Denver, CO and graduated in May 2016. This is where I decided that a way I could help make an impact on children is to write books with characters they could relate to. I got my degree in English with a minor in Elementary Education and set out to create heroes and heroines that all children could relate to. My mom made me promise her that I would get a job after college and not run off to a cabin to write books.
After graduation, I chose to move back to Texas because my family was here. I worked in property management for three years and then transitioned into the corporate event industry where I was an Executive Assistant to the CEO for a year and a half. I am very excited to now be apart of the BLF team where I can get back to helping children who have experienced trauma and reaching my goals.
While transitioning to be a part of the BLF team I experienced first hand how much they are willing to go above and beyond. We see our clients as extended family and we will do everything we can to help you in your case.
During my free time, I like to unplug and spend time with my husband and dogs (Heidi Belle and Stella Luna). My husband and I enjoy spending time in nature fishing, hunting, hiking, and cycling. My favorite of those is fishing and will not pass up a chance to be on the lake. I currently hold the record in my house for the most and largest bass caught and I have every intention of keeping it.
